Erling Haaland appears to tell Inter Milan star to 'f**k off' after Man City held to Champions League draw

Erling Haaland appeared to tell Inter Milan star Francesco Acerbi to 'f**k off' in the aftermath of their goalless Champions League draw on Wednesday night.

The Norway international had gone into the showdown at the Etihad Stadium hoping to add to his brilliant goal tally this season.

But though Haaland has netted nine goals from four Premier League outings, he was unable to get off the mark in Europe.

Acerbi managed to keep the 24-year-old quiet, with Inter performing well as they secured a point.

After the game, Haaland and Acerbi talked at the final whistle.

Both were seen tugging at each other's shirts, with the Inter star appearing to be asking for two of Haaland's jerseys as a souvenir.

Haaland, with a big smile on his face, was shocked at being asked to give two away.

And he then appeared to tell the defender to 'f**k off', with both players left amused by the exchange.

While Haaland appeared to be in good spirits, it was a frustrating night for the striker.

He is just one goal away from scoring 100 times for the club, despite only joining from Borussia Dortmund back in the summer transfer window of 2022.

But Acerbi and Alessandro Bastoni put on a masterclass to nullify the threat of Haaland.

Pep Guardiola was asked about the forward's failure to score after the final whistle.

And the Spaniard insisted it was difficult for Haaland due to the brilliance of the Inter defence.

“There were six players around him, three behind, three in front," he said.

“That makes it difficult for any player.

“We tried to use the spaces, that is why [Ilkay] Gundogan had a couple of chances.
