Ruben Amorim has begun his tenure as Manchester United's new head coach, arriving at the club's Carrington training complex on Monday.
The 39-year-old Portuguese manager was welcomed by chief executive Omar Berrada, sporting director Dan Ashworth and technical director Jason Wilcox.
On Tuesday, Amorim met with players who were not away on international duty.
The former Sporting CP boss has joined United on a two-and-a-half year contract as Erik ten Hag's successor, though he and his staff are still awaiting their visas before formally starting work.
During a floodlit visit to Old Trafford, Amorim shared his first impressions of the iconic stadium in an interview with the club's in-house TV channel.
"You watch on TV and you know that it's big and it's impressive, but when you are here you can feel it and I think you feel the history," Amorim said.
The Portuguese manager expressed his pride at taking charge of the club.
"I'm really, really proud to be a Manchester United coach, so it's amazing. It's a real honour to be here," he told MUTV.
The footage of Amorim's first interview was released by United on Friday.
Despite the weight of United's history, Amorim appears remarkably composed about his new role.
"That's really funny because I feel very relaxed," he said when told about the gravitas of the position.
The new United boss did acknowledge a different side to his personality during matches.
"Maybe because it's not game day. When we have a game I'm a different guy but I really don't feel the weight," Amorim explained.
He expressed confidence in his appointment, adding: "I'm really excited and I'm quite relaxed you know. I think I am where I am supposed to be. That's the feeling."
Amorim's first match in charge will be against Ipswich Town at Portman Road on 24 November.
The Portuguese manager arrives with an impressive track record from his time at Sporting CP, where he claimed two Primeira Liga titles.
His first championship with Sporting in 2021 was particularly notable, as it ended the club's 19-year title drought.

He now faces a similar challenge at United, who have not won the Premier League for 11 years.
Following the Ipswich fixture, United will host Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League four days later.
