Teenage darts sensation Luke Littler has openly admitted to being "lazy" after demolishing James Wade at the World Masters without allowing his opponent a single shot at a double.
The reigning world champion made the candid confession following Wade's pre-match comments about players being lazy behind closed doors.
Littler, who dispatched Wade in under 16 minutes, acknowledged that his natural talent means he doesn't need extensive practice time to maintain his dominant form.
Prior to their match, Wade had remarked: "I don't believe anyone is amazing apart from the Luke [Littler] and the Luke [Humphries]. And after that, they could be quite lazy."

When questioned about these comments, Littler responded: "I didn't see it, but he's right. I am lazy in the practice room as well."
The teenage champion added: "I don't have to practice for hours and hours.
"You know yourself when to play when you've practiced for that long, you've warmed up and you're ready to go."
The match proved to be a complete whitewash, with Littler dominating every aspect of play against the 41-year-old Wade.
The teenage champion's performance was so commanding that Wade failed to get a single opportunity at a double throughout the entire contest.
"I knew he didn't hit a double, but to not get a shot at double," Littler reflected on his dominant display.
"I think I was more than 15 over him in the averages and that goes to show how well I played tonight."
Despite his dominance, Littler maintains a humble perspective, stating: "Sometimes I do surprise myself, but then again, I can look at myself and say you have got the game to do it, you are World Champion, you can beat anyone."
The teenage star revealed he's still very much a fan of the sport at heart.

Littler will now face Jonny Clayton in Sunday's quarter-final clash at the World Masters.
The pair have met just once before, with Littler dominating their previous encounter during a Players Championship event last year, where Clayton managed to win only one of seven legs.
The tournament will conclude on Sunday evening, with the semi-finals and final taking place in the evening session following the quarter-final matches.
