Michael Van Gerwen is set to withdraw from playing and will be taking a break as he deals with personal issues.
The darts star was set to take part in the Dutch Darts Championship this weekend where he was set to face Michael Mansell.

Van Gerwen apologised to his disappointed fans.
He said in a statement: "It is with great sadness that I inform you that Daphne and I have decided to end our relationship.

"As a result, I have withdrawn from the upcoming tournaments. I am sorry to disappoint my fans, but I trust that they will understand my decision.
"We are going through difficult times and ask everyone to respect our privacy during this difficult time."

Van Gerwen had been with his wife since 2008, and have two children together.
Daphe boasts 38,000 followers on social media and often uses her platform to show off her lavish holidays.

The family enjoyed a trip to Turkey in April on the beach.
The couple were also seen travelling last Autumn before the Czech Darts Open.
He released the statement on Instagram earlier today.
The Dutchman has been struggling all season, culminating in his defeat against Nathan Aspinall, which means he has missed out on the final four of the Premier League darts season.
Van Gerwen has had a difficult year on and off the stage, struggling with form and injury.
