Jamie Carragher has blasted Liverpool full-back Milos Kerkez as "stupid" after the Hungarian was booked for simulation during their game against Burnley on Sunday.
The former Liverpool defender was left fuming after a blatant dive from the left-back while in the Burnley 18-yard box.
"Absolutely stupid," Carragher said while on commentary duties for Sky Sports.
"[Referee Michael Oliver] was in a good position to see it.
"I don’t know why he would do that. He was in a good position!"
Kerkez received a booking for the simulation, with the defender making another foul moments after causing Burnley players to question referee Michael Oliver on whether he should still be on the pitch.

Liverpool boss Arne Slot was forced to react to the booking by substituting Kerkez with just 37 minutes on the clock.
Scottish full-back Andy Robertson was brought on to replace him.

Fans were quick to social media to condemn the dive, with one fan writing: "No Carragher, Kerkez wasn't stupid, it was just blatant cheating.
"Then he doubled down moaning to the ref about it."

Another said: "Ridiculously bad from Kerkez. Have a word with yourself lad."
A third added: "That was a disgusting behaviour of diving from Kerkez. Take him off the pitch."
The incident occurred during the first half of Liverpool's contest against Burnley that currently sees them drawing 0-0.
The Reds have struggled to gain any momentum going forward, with Scott Parker's side nullifying the dangers of Mohamed Salah and Hugo Ekitike effectively.
