England's World Cup preparations were thrown into chaos after their team hotel in Mexico City was leaked, with Thomas Tuchel's players abused by home supporters on arrival.
The Three Lions touched down in the Mexican capital ahead of their huge World Cup clash with the co-hosts, only to be greeted by jeers, whistles and hostile chants outside their accommodation.
Fans had gathered in the street before England's team bus arrived, with the squad met by repeated cries of "Mexico! Mexico!" as they stepped off and made their way into the building.
Harry Kane was among those targeted, with the England captain turning his head as supporters repeatedly shouted his name during the tense reception.
There was one friendlier moment when a Mexican supporter belted out "You'll Never Walk Alone" as the players arrived.
But the overall welcome was hostile and has only heightened concerns inside the England camp ahead of Monday's showdown at the Estadio Azteca.
Security around the hotel has already been ramped up, with metal barriers placed outside and a significant police presence in position.
Officers with riot shields were also visible as England attempted to settle into their base before one of the toughest tests of their tournament so far.

Tuchel and his staff are braced for more disruption overnight, with fears Mexico supporters could attempt to keep England's players awake before kick-off.
Those concerns come after Ecuador submitted a formal complaint following their own clash with Mexico in the previous round.
Ecuador claimed large numbers of local fans gathered outside their hotel into the early hours, using fireworks, air horns, drums, motorbikes and loud music in an attempt to disrupt the players' sleep.
"This conduct is far removed from the principles of fair play, equality and unity that a football World Cup should represent," Ecuador's football federation said.

There were also reports of visiting journalists being targeted by supporters, while an Ecuadorian television journalist appeared to be hit in the face by a beer cup during a live broadcast.
England had already delayed their journey to Mexico City because of concerns over security and possible spying.
Rather than travelling straight from Atlanta after their dramatic 2-1 win over DR Congo, the squad returned to their Kansas City base, where Tuchel was able to work on his tactical plans in a more secure environment.
The German is determined that England's team shape and strategy are not leaked before facing Mexico.
England's training base in Kansas City has been heavily protected throughout the tournament, with police and security guards stationed around the perimeter during sessions.

But the leak of their Mexico City hotel has complicated preparations and left the FA facing a major security headache.
The match itself has also been surrounded by uncertainty after FIFA held talks over whether to move the kick-off time because of the threat of thunderstorms.
England are still scheduled to face Mexico at 1am UK time on Monday, with a place in the World Cup quarter-finals at stake.
Tuchel is already expecting a difficult night, saying after Kane's heroics against DR Congo: "We will expect that. But what can we do? We will bring earplugs. I expect everything."
