Tottenham and Everton have struck an agreement in principle that will see Iliman Ndiaye head to north London while Richarlison makes a return to Merseyside, reports say.
The two moves are structured as separate transfers rather than a formal swap arrangement, though they have been negotiated in tandem between the clubs.
Both deals hinge on the players reaching agreements over personal terms and successfully completing medical examinations.
With the summer transfer window closing at 11pm on Tuesday 1 September, the two sides are hopeful of wrapping up all outstanding details within the next 48 hours.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the 26-year-old Senegalese attacker has already signalled his willingness to make the switch to Spurs.
Richarlison was dropped entirely from Spurs' matchday squad for Saturday evening's 2-0 home defeat to Newcastle, with manager Roberto De Zerbi confirming afterwards that the Brazilian had made his desire to depart abundantly clear.
"He said too many times [that] he wants to leave," De Zerbi stated. The Italian also revealed that Kevin Danso and Pape Matar Sarr had separately approached him with transfer requests, though Sarr is currently nursing a minor injury.
De Zerbi made plain that no player would be held against their will, but insisted the onus was on them to deliver a viable financial arrangement. "I love these players, they are great guys, I have very good relationships, but if they want to leave, they have to bring the solution, the economic solution, to the club, and they can go, and we find other players," he said.
Ndiaye has turned down several contract extension proposals from Everton over the past year, making it increasingly apparent that he views his long-term future away from the club.
The 26-year-old had attracted interest from both Manchester City and Arsenal in recent weeks, but it is Tottenham who have secured his agreement.
The Senegal international featured for the full match as David Moyes' side earned a 1-1 draw at Bournemouth, having contributed six goals and three assists across last season's campaign.
Moyes had been eager to retain his attacking talisman, yet the player's repeated refusal to commit to fresh terms left the club with little choice but to negotiate an exit.
Earlier this summer, Everton were reportedly seeking a fee in the region of £80 million for the former Sheffield United forward.
Spurs have spent in excess of £300 million this summer, with Manchester City pair Omar Marmoush and Savio among the headline arrivals alongside Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes. Despite that lavish outlay, De Zerbi's side are yet to register a Premier League goal this season.
The financial structure of the Ndiaye-Richarlison arrangement remains somewhat unclear. Everton were said to have placed an £80 million price tag on their forward, while Tottenham valued Richarlison at roughly £30 million, suggesting a significant cash adjustment could be involved — potentially upwards of £50 million.
Richarlison, who is entering the final year of his Spurs contract, netted 53 goals and provided 15 assists during his previous 152 appearances for the Toffees following his £60 million move to north London in 2022.
