Former Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has been banned from driving for six months after driving 36mph in a 30mph zone.
Salah did not tell police he was driving when a speed camera caught his Rolls-Royce in Wilmslow, Cheshire, according to court documents.
The 34-year-old did not respond to the prosecution notice from Cheshire Constabulary and did not enter a plea.
A court official said he was prosecuted at Warrington Combined Court under the Single Justice Procedure, where magistrates conduct private hearings, and was found guilty of failing to provide information about the driver of the vehicle.
Salah was given a six-month driving ban and ordered to pay £1,044.
The offence came just days after the Egyptian announced he would be leaving Liverpool after nine years at the club.
Salah confirmed his departure from the club in March on social media, saying: "I never imagined how deeply this club, this city and the people would become part of my life."
He arrived at Anfield in the summer of 2017, having been signed from Serie A outfit Roma.
During his time with the Reds, he won two Premier League titles, the Champions League, the Club World Cup, the Super Cup, the FA Cup, two League Cups, and the Community Shield.
Salah was a fan favourite at Anfield, saying in his message: "Liverpool is not just a football club. It is a passion, a history, a spirit. I can't explain in words."
After leaving the Reds, the Egyptian completed his surprise move to Trabzonspor after the Turkish club offered him a lucrative two-year contract.

Salah reportedly earns around £14.5million per season and received a £4.2million signing-on bonus.
The deal is understood to include a clause allowing the 34-year-old to receive 20 per cent of the profits from sales of his official shirts.
Trabzonspor had already begun selling shirts bearing Salah's name before the transfer was formally completed.
So far this season, the 34-year-old has already found the net seven times in the league in just six games and registered two assists.
He is the joint top scorer in the division, scoring over half of his team's league goals.
Despite Salah's efforts, Trabzonspor sit in seventh, in an incredibly tight and competitive league.
